Ferrari remains on top as Raikkonen sets the pace in FP3 at the Malaysian Grand Prix.

At first, Lewis Hamilton appeared to have brought Mercedes back into the race after a less than perfect Friday left the Silver Arrows head scratching. But an error on his flying lap left the old-aero element running Briton down the order whilst Ferrari leapt to the top with a commanding lead. A strong start to the day, until an issue developed late on that left Sebastian Vettel limping back to the pits.

Lewis Hamilton commands the very first wet Formula One night race, the 2017 Singapore Grand Prix.

A race into the unknown as Formula One celebrated the 10th Singapore Grand Prix with the very first night race in wet conditions. A new prospect for the 20 man field, unsure of what tyres to start on and whether the weather would create glare under the lights. Though the drama came when Vettel pinched Verstappen into Raikkonen to take the trio out before the first corner. Promoting Hamilton into a lead he mastered to move 28-points clear of the Ferrari.

Singapore GP | McLaren-Honda divorce overshadows Ricciardo’s pace

Second practice at the Singapore Grand Prix topped by Daniel Ricciardo.

The lights come on in Singapore and the deals were signed at the Marina Bay Street Circuit, as McLaren ditched Honda for Renault power, Toro Rosso took their Japanese supply and Carlos Sainz was loaned to the French manufacturer for 2018. Cramming a silly-season of deals into the between session-window, and overshadowing Daniel Ricciardo’s rapid table-topping FP2 runs.

The evening sun may still have been beaming down over the Singapore streets, but the Red Bull was shining as Daniel Ricciardo posted the fastest time in First Free Practice for the Singapore Grand Prix. Setting a new absolute lap record for the Marina Bay Street Circuit, with times only set to continue to fall as night creeps in.

Atop the timesheets once again sat Daniel Ricciardo at the Hungaroring. Putting his upgraded Red Bull ahead of the field on the supersoft tyres, above Sebastian Vettel and Valtteri Bottas as Lewis Hamilton missed his chance at a flying lap thanks to yellow flags for Felipe Massa and a red flag when Pascal Wehlrein suffered a heavy head on crash at Turn 11.

British GP | Hamilton storms stormy qualifying at Silverstone

Lewis Hamilton wins the qualifying quest at the British Grand Prix.

From a wet start to a fiery end, Hamilton stormed Silverstone to clinch pole at the British Grand Prix. Lewis’ 67th career pole, and fifth at home, moving the Briton to within one of Michael Schumacher on the all-time list. And placing Lewis in a great spot to clinch his fourth consecutive British Grand Prix win.
